Next Up For Bauer: Mercer, Tri-City, Wayne Co., Sharon

Michael Bauer ends his two-race weekend in Victory Lane at Mercer Raceway Park, once again. He looks forward to a four-race stretch at four different tracks coming up: Mercer Raceway Park, Tri-City Raceway Park, Wayne County Speedway, and Sharon Speedway.  

On Friday evening, Bauer went to Lernerville Speedway along with 21 other cars.  He started 6th in his heat and finished 4th. He lined up 11th in the feature and held his ground to finish in the same position.

On Saturday, Bauer visited his home-track, Mercer Raceway Park, as usual. He qualified 3rd overall. This lined him up to start 2nd in his heat, from there he ran away with the heat race win.  The inversion of 0 was pulled so Bauer lined up to start on the pole. He led the entire 25 lap non-stop feature and ended up in Victory Lane for the second time this season.

“It felt great to get another win,” said Bauer. “It shows our team is improving. Hopefully we can build on this going into the densest part of our schedule.”

On Saturday evening, Bauer will visit his home track, Mercer Raceway Park, for their weekly Saturday Night Live event. On Sunday, Bauer plans to head to Tri-City Raceway Park for their special 410 Sprint show.  Bauer then plans to run two All Star Circuit of Champion, Ohio Speedweek shows. Monday, he will be racing at Wayne County Speedway and Tuesday, he will be racing at Sharon Speedway. Plans always can change but right now, this is what they are shooting for.

“I am excited to race four nights back-to-back,” said Bauer. “I am most looking forward to the All-Star show at Sharon Speedway since we have been strong there in the past.”
