Next Up For Bova: Sharon Speedway
Cody Bova prepares to head to Sharon Speedway on Saturday, June 2nd with his 410 Sprint Car
for their $3,000 to win show. This will be Bova’s fourth time ever being in a 410 Sprint Car and
first time at Sharon Speedway. Along with the 410 Sprint Cars, there will be RUSH Wingless Sprint
Cars, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, and Econo Mods. All presented by Menards.
“We are excited to get to Sharon Speedway,” said Bova. “We’ve been fast the last couple of
weeks in the 410 so I’m excited to see what we can do at a new track.”
Last weekend, Bova raced Friday at Lernerville Speedway in his 410 and Saturday at Fremont
Speedway in his 360. On Friday, Bova started 7th in his heat race and finished 6th. This lined him
up to start 3rd in a B-Main. From here, Bova won the B-Main. This lined him up to start 18th in the
feature. He moved his way the whole way up to 7th but fell back the last couple of laps to finish 10th.
On Saturday, Bova qualified 5th out of 20 cars. He started 3rd in his heat and finished 3rd. From
here, he lined up 8th for the feature. He moved up a couple spots to finish 5th.
“We had a really successful weekend,” said Bova. “We had speed both nights and got really
comfortable at Lernerville on Friday. We are excited to see how we can do this Saturday at Sharon.”
