Next Up For Foos: Attica & Fremont

Matt Foos prepares for another two-race weekend locally, as long as Mother Nature allows. On Friday, May 18th, Foos will be headed to Attica Raceway Park with his 305 Sprint Car with the FAST 305 Sprints for $1,000 to win. Along with the FAST 305’s, there will also be FAST 410 Sprints and UMP Mods. Racing action starts at 7:45PM. On Saturday, Foos will be headed to Fremont Speedway with his 305 Sprint Car. Along with the 305 Sprints, there will be 410 Sprints, Dirt Trucks, and Late Models. Racing action starts at 7PM.

“Hopefully the weather cooperates with us this weekend,” said Foos. “We would love to get in Victory Lane one of these weeks so hopefully we can get in the front and get a good finish.”

Last weekend, Foos was to race at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Friday evening at Attica Raceway Park, Foos pulled a bad pill to start his evening which placed him to start last in the heat race. He drove up to finish up front but missed the redraw by one spot. From here, he started 15th in the feature. He moved up a few spots to finish 8th! Saturday evening at Fremont Speedway was canceled due to rain.

“We are really hoping to get some better luck,” said Foos. “Starting last in the heat race seems to be some bad luck of ours and it gets us behind at the beginning of the night. Hopefully we can get up front this weekend and see what we can do!”
