Next Up For Bova: Lernerville & Fremont

Cody Bova has a two-race weekend on tap this coming weekend. On Friday, May 25th, Bova will be headed to Lernerville Speedway to race in their Fab4 weekly show with his 410 Sprint.  Racing action starts at 7:30PM. On Saturday, May 26th, Bova will be headed to Fremont Speedway with his 360 Sprint to compete with the NRA 360 Sprints. Along with the NRA 360 Sprints, there will also be FAST 410’s and FAST 305’s. Racing action will start at 7:00PM.

“We are really looking forward to this weekend,” said Bova. “We had a lot of fun and ran pretty good at Lernerville last week so we are excited to see how it goes this week. Also, last time at Fremont, we had a really good run with the NRA 360 Sprints. I think we can finish on top so we are excited to see what happens.”

Last Friday, Bova raced at Lernerville Speedway for only his second time in a 410 Sprint Car. Bova started 3rd in his heat and finished 3rd to make the redraw. From here, Bova lined up 5th in the feature. He moved back a couple spots to finish a solid 7th place. Saturday was canceled due to rain at Wayne County Speedway.

“We were really happy with our run at Lernerville,” said Bova. “It helps that I have a crew chief who raced at Lernerville for 30 years so he has a really good idea of what the track is going to do. We are excited to see what happens this weekend.”
