Mike Bauer is eager for his weekend ahead with the All Star Circuit of Champions (ASCoC) at a couple of local tracks.
On Friday, May 4th, Bauer will be headed to Lernerville Speedway to compete with the ASCoC 410 Sprint Cars. Hot laps are scheduled to start at 6PM. Along with the ASCoC 410 Sprint Cars, 305 Racesaver Sprints will be present along with the new RUSH Series wingless crate Sprints. If weather interferes, a rain date of June 1st will be used. This is a $5,000 to win show. Pit passes are $40. You can find more information on their website HERE.
On Saturday, May 5th, Bauer will be headed to Sharon Speedway to compete with the ASCoC 410 Sprint Cars for their $5,000 to win “Buckeye Cup.” This is the first of 3 ASCoC shows at Sharon Speedway. Hot laps are scheduled to start at 6PM. Along with the ASCoC Sprints, the Econo Mods will also be on the card. Pit passes are $35. You can find more information on their website HERE.
“We are looking forward to racing closer to home for the first time this year,” said Bauer. “It should be an action-packed weekend.”
Last weekend, Bauer spent his weekend at Mansfield Motor Speedway for their $100,000 to win Sprint Car World Championship. On Friday, Bauer was lined up to start 8th in his heat race but after an opening lap incident he lined up to start 4th. From there, they were able to finish 3rd which was a transfer position to the A-Main. Bauer then lined up 10th in the feature and finished 13th. On Saturday, Bauer failed to transfer through the heat race and was placed in a B-Main. During the B-Main, Bauer broke a torsion stop which ended their weekend in Mansfield.
“We learned a lot at Mansfield,” said Bauer. “We hope to use that to help us in the upcoming races.”
