Next Up For Bauer: Lernerville + Sharon

Mike Bauer has a two-race weekend coming up. On Friday, May 11th, Bauer will be headed to Lernerville Speedway for their Fab4 weekly show. Racing starts at 7:30PM.  On Saturday, May 12th, Bauer will be headed to Sharon Speedway to race with the FAST 410 Sprints. Along with the FAST 410 Sprints, there will also be Stock Cars, RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, and Econo Mods. Racing starts at 7PM.

“This Friday we will visit Lernerville Speedway,” said Bauer.  “This will be our fourth different track this year. We are excited to return to some local racing this weekend.” 

Last weekend, Bauer was set to have a two-race weekend also but Friday evening at Lernerville with the All Star Circuit of Champions (ASCoC) was canceled due to rain. On Saturday, Bauer competed at Sharon Speedway with the ASCoC. He qualified 35th out of 43 cars. He started 7th in his heat and finished 7th. Bauer was placed in the B-Main and started 13th. He failed to transfer to the feature after finishing 10th in the B-Main.

“We tried some new things and gained speed as the night went on,” said Bauer. “We will try to build on that this weekend. Although it has been a tough start, we are improving so look for us to be making our way to the front.”
