Matt Foos is eager to get back on the track this weekend after having some problems last week. Foos will be headed to Attica Raceway Park on Friday, April 20th and Fremont Speedway on Saturday, April 21st. Please note that Fremont Speedway's start time has now moved up to 3:30PM.

Racing on Friday at Attica starts at 7:45PM, visit their website HERE for more information. This week’s show will feature the All Star Circuit of Champion 410 Sprint Cars, 305 Sprint Cars, and UMP Late Models. Racing on Saturday at Fremont starts at 3:30PM now with an earlier start due to cold weather, visit their website HERE for more information. This week is Fremont’s Season Opener and will feature the FAST 410 Sprints, FAST 305 Sprints, Dirt Trucks, and 602 Lates. “I’m excited to get back to the track this weekend,” said Foos. “We had some bad luck last week at Attica and then bad weather on Saturday so we didn’t get to race at Fremont. I’m really hoping to get back to both tracks this weekend and see what we can do.”

This past Friday at Attica wasn’t the best of nights for Foos. He started his evening with a bad pill draw placing him 8th in his heat race. He finished 6th in the heat which wasn’t enough to transfer into the feature event and placed him in the B-Main. He started 3rd in the B-Main and finished 2nd, advancing into the feature event. This put Foos in the 17th starting spot for the feature event where he ended up with a DNF because of having brake issues and a brand new right rear bar collapsing.  Saturday at Fremont Speedway was canceled due to inclement weather.

“Hopefully we got all of the issues out of the way,” said Foos. “We worked hard in the shop this week and hoping to start over this weekend with some good runs.”
