Dan Shetler looks forward to heading back to Lernerville Speedway this weekend for their Mid-Season Championship, along with a possibility of Tri-City Raceway Park on Sunday.

Shelter visited Lernerville Speedway last Friday, 22 cars were present. He started 4th in his heat and finished 2nd. Shetler started 5th in the feature and was up to 2nd place, battling with leader, A.J. Flick and third place, Carl Bowser most of the race. Shetler slipped off of the track in turn 4 with a few laps to go, he was able to save it but ended up falling back a few spots. He ended up finishing in a solid top 5 with a 5th place finish.

“The track was really slick and widened out all of the way to the edge on both ends of the track,” said Shetler. “We had the car going good but one minor mistake cost us a better finish. We will keep fine tuning our slick track set-up and have it a little better for next week. Overall, not a bad night. We have been staying consistent finishing with another top 5 and bringing the car home in one piece.”

Shetler plans to head to Lernerville Speedway this weekend for their Mid-Season Championship. He currently sits in the 2nd position in the Track Points for the 410 Sprint Cars, only 14 points behind leader, A.J. Flick.  Shetler may also head to Tri-City Raceway Park this weekend for their Father’s Day special with the 410 Sprint Cars on Sunday.
