Dan Shetler prepares for an evening at Lernerville Speedway after a long weekend away with the All Star Circuit of Champions in New York.

Last Friday, Shetler went to his weekly track, Lernerville Speedway. He finished 3rd in his heat race and then Mother Nature decided to ruin the evening.

“I was disappointed that the weather moved in a little too soon at Lernerville and washed out the features,” said Shetler. “We’re excited to try again this week.”

On Saturday, Shetler went to Orange County Fair Speedway in New York with the All Star Circuit of Champions. He started 8th in the heat and finished 8th, failing to transfer into the feature. He started 4th in the B-Main and finished 3rd which put him into the feature event, starting 21st. He was up to the 15th position and blew a right rear tire on the last lap, causing him to finish 18th.

On Sunday, Shetler went to Lebanon Valley with the All Star Circuit of Champions. He started 5th in his heat and finished 5th. He then started 14th in the feature and moved up multiple positions, finishing a solid 8th place.

“It was fun to make the trip to New York,” said Shetler. “The team always enjoys the challenges and experience of racing at new tracks that we haven’t seen before. It’s always a pleasure racing with the All Stars. We learned a lot at both tracks and we will apply that to future races, having good notes if we make it back to those tracks again next year.”

Shetler will be headed to Lernerville Speedway on Friday for their weekly Fab4 event.
