Change of plans for Bova - Mercer bound

Cody Bova has changed his plans for this weekend, deciding to double duty at Mercer Raceway Park with his 305 and 360 (with the 410's) for the Putzy Kekich Memorial.

Last weekend, Bova spent his weekend with the FAST 305 Series. On Friday, Bova went to Attica Raceway Park. He started 7th in his heat and failed to move forward enough to transfer into the feature so he was forced to run a B-Main. He started 4th in the B-Main and finished 2nd.  From there, he started 19th in the feature. He advanced a few positions to finish 12th.

On Saturday, Bova went to Fremont Speedway with the 305 FAST Series again. He started his evening by pulling the number 100 pill, lining him up last (9th) in his heat. He advanced quickly and finished 3rd in his heat, placing him in the redraw for the top 12 positions. Bova pulled the number 1 pill, placing him in the first position for the 25 lap feature. Bova held a solid 2nd place next to first-time winner, Seth Schneider.

“It felt really good to finally have a good run at Fremont,” said Bova. “That place is tough and we have had a really hard time figuring it. I think we are finally getting it. I’m excited to get back there and see what we can do next time.”

Next weekend, Bova heads to Mansfield Motor Speedway with the 305 FAST Series for a two-day event.
