Next Up For Bova: Mansfield x2

Cody Bova celebrates win at Mercer Raceway Park and prepares for a two-day show with the 305 FAST Series at Mansfield Motor Speedway.

Bova spent last Saturday racing his 305ci and 360ci Sprints at Mercer Raceway Park.  The 360ci in the 410 class didn't go as planned, he ran a solid heat race and started 16th and moved up to about 11th place and lost oil pressure and pulled off. In the 305 class, Bova won his heat race. The inversion was 8, so Bova was placed 7th to start in the feature. Within 4 laps, Bova took the lead and lead the rest of the 20 lap feature, winning by almost 7 seconds.

“Racing at all of these different places and with different drivers has helped me so much,” said Bova. “I've been traveling to a lot of new tracks this year and learning a lot of new things. It's nice to see my hard work pay off. I'm excited to see what's to come this year.”

This weekend Bova will be headed to Mansfield Motor Speedway with the 305 FAST Series Sprints for their Friday & Saturday night shows.

“I'm really pumped to get to Mansfield this weekend,” said Bova. “I love racing with the FAST Series and racing with those guys. Hoping for a successful weekend!”
