Dan Shetler prepares for Lernerville Speedway twice in the coming days, including the World of Outlaws on Tuesday.

This coming Friday, Shetler will be headed to his normal Friday evening track, Lernerville Speedway. After last weeks rainout and a couple weeks off there, he is anxious to get back to Lernerville. He hopes to use this night to closer prepare for Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the World of Outlaws will be at Lernerville Speedway for the Don Martin Memorial.  Shetler will also be present at this show.

“I’m excited to get back to our home track at Lernerville,” said Shetler. “It’s been almost a month since we’ve been able to race there. I’m hoping we can get the races in on Friday to make sure we are completely dialed in for the Don Martin Memorial on Tuesday. There’s sure to be an excellent field of cars with some of the best drivers from all over the country so we will have to be on top of our game.”

Last Saturday, Shetler visited Sharon Speedway for the Lou Blaney Memorial with the All Star Circuit of Champions. Shelter qualified 9th out of the 45 cars present. He missed the set up in the heat race and miss the transfer position by one place, putting him in the B-main. He finished 4th in the B-main, which placed him to start 24th in the main event. He moved up a few positions to finish 19th.

“Sharon did a great job with the new surface,” said Shelter. “It made for some great racing. It was wide, smooth, and easy on equipment. I couldn't ask for anything more. It's a lot different than the old surface and we had some trouble figuring out what to do with the car.  We will work on it and make sure we have the 7k dialed in better the next time. We always look forward to racing at Sharon, just wish we could do it more often.”
