Dan Shelter prepares for a big three race weekend at Lernerville Speedway along with two shows with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday, Shetler heads to his weekly track, Lernerville Speedway for a normal Fab 4 Show.

On Saturday and Sunday, Shetler will be traveling with the All Star Circuit of Champions in New York.  Saturday, they will be headed to the ⅝ mile track, Orange County Fair Speedway. Sunday, they will be headed to the ½ mile high-banked oval of Lebanon Valley Speedway.

This past week, Shetler raced at Lernerville Speedway on Tuesday for the World of Outlaws show. His time wasn't great so he was placed in the back of the heat race and B-Main which resulted in not transferring through to the A-Main feature. He used a track provisional to start the feature but decided to save his equipment after running a lap.

Friday evening, he visited Eriez Speedway with the All Star Circuit of Champions. He had the fastest lap of the night during hot laps but ended up not qualifying great during time trials, 24th out of 38 cars present. He started 10th in his heat race and finished 7th. He started 7th in the B-Main and failed to make it into the top 4 transfer positions to move on to the A-Main.

“I'm disappointed that we failed to qualify for both events,” said Shetler. “We just didn't time well enough at either of the tracks and when you’re running against theses guys, you just can't afford to make a mistake and sacrifice track position. The car has been a little off the last few races and we spent the rest of the weekend going over everything. We think that we have the problem solved. I’m excited to get back to Lernerville on Friday then hitting the road to New York with the All Stars on Saturday and Sunday.”
