Next Up For Bova: Stateline

Cody Bova looks forward to hitting the track with the Patriot Sprint Tour the next two weekends in New York and Pennsylvania after another disappointing weekend.

Bova was to race at Limaland Motorsports Park with the 305 FAST Series on Friday, but the rain came in the evening and washed them out before hot laps, forcing them to cancel.

On Saturday, Bova visited his home track, Mercer Raceway Park with his 305ci Sprint. He was second quick in qualifying, started 2nd in the heat and won it. He lined up 4th in the feature, ran 3rd for some of the race and the car was starting to overheat so he made the decision to pull off with a few laps to go.

This Saturday, Bova will be headed to a new track for him, Stateline Speedway in Busti, New York. Stateline is a 1/3rd-mile semi-banked dirt oval race track.

“I'm excited to get to another new track this weekend," said Bova "The Patriot Tour is a tough group of racers and I enjoy the new challenge. I look forward to getting back in the 360 against some of the best drivers."

Next weekend, Bova will also be traveling with the 360 Patriot Sprint Tour for a three day weekend throughout PA. Thursday evening will be at McKean County Raceway, Friday evening at Raceway 7, and Saturday evening at Mercer Raceway Park.
